The Operations team hosts workshops, space philosophy discussions, dinners, conferences and demo days. We visit centers of aerospace innovation and development, and bring knowledgeable speakers from the industry to the Stanford campus. We send members to international space conferences and connect with companies and agencies working on the future of space exploration. In addition to this, we keep the gears of Stanford SSI turning by hosting group events and weekly dinners, where students from different space engineering projects can discuss their work.
Interested in speaking at Stanford? Contact Kai Marshland at [email protected].
We invite influential speakers to share their thoughts on the aerospace industry, whether from a technical or a policy perspective.
The Operations team coordinates tours of businesses interested in space and advanced technologies, and work to establish a campus presence as a home for engineers, scientists, and individuals interested in space policy.
The Operations team sends members to places where innovation is occurring now, allowing for an inside look at the future of the space industry.
In addition to our work with space, the team also provides the engineering teams with opportunities to talk to one another and exchange ideas. We host weekly group dinners and discussions, where members can share their thoughts on what they are working on.
